Introductory course on NFTs and current and relevant use cases in different markets

NFTs, or non-fungible tokens, are unique and non-replicable units of data that can be used to represent digital or real objects. For example: artwork, music, video games, collectibles and more.


In this course, you will learn everything you need to know about NFTs. We will explore the history, technology, how to create, buy and sell NFTs.
We will also show current and relevant use cases of NFTs in different markets.

Course agenda:

  • Smart Contracts: history, definition and use of smart contracts in the IT world.
  • What is a Token: differences between fungible and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
  • Tokenization process: choosing the asset to be tokenized, token type, blockchain, writing the smart contract, deploying the smart contract.
  • Marketplace: platforms for buying and selling tokens, including NFTs. Real-world examples of how to approach in current online marketplaces.
  • Use cases: Various fields of real application of NFTs, practical examples and in different marketplaces.

Requirements

The course is structured to be usable by anyone, so it is not strictly necessary to know specific topics, although it is recommended to have a good knowledge of blockchain and how it works in order to better understand all its facets.
